We offer wonderful castle of 1700 in the historic center of Cavallirio in a quiet and private location just 20 minutes from Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta and a few kilometers from the highway to Milan and Genoa.
The historic house whose main body dates back to 1770, originally turned out to be an Oratory, as well as a place of Prayer and Prayer, called “Isola San Rocco”.
Between 1944 and 1948, the castle was enlarged and restored by Ettore Bobbio, who carried out the work with great passion.
The tower, which was initially round and in poor condition, was raised to 25 meters and the battlements were added. The paintings and frescoes were executed by Prof. Pietro Gaddia from Eldo Andreoletti. The property is spread over an area of 554 square meters on several levels, on the ground floor the large entrance hall characterized by fascinating original frescoes leads directly to the large living room with an important fireplace, followed by the study, the kitchen and the guest bathroom.
All the floors of the ground floor are marble in perfect condition.
Through a fabulous staircase you reach the first floor where we find three bedrooms, one of which with study and access to the balcony and large bathroom. On the same level there is a large equipped terrace that overlooks the garden and allows you to spend moments of relaxation in the open air enjoying the view over the roofs of the town.
On the second floor there is an independent apartment completely renovated in the 80s, consisting of living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom.
All of the rooms have parquet floors. Also inside the garden there is a gazebo used in particular for receptions, weddings and communions. Thanks to its distribution of indoor and outdoor spaces, this historic house is particularly suitable for use in B&B, but also for a large family that has the desire to live inside a real castle unique in its kind immersed in a historical and elegant context.
